The Raymond C. Montoya Sponsor a Student Program,

only at DANCE CONSERVATORY Seattle

At DANCE CONSERVATORY Seattle, we are committed to encouraging inclusivity and accessibility in dance education by providing opportunities to those students and their families who may not be able to financially afford the expenses incurred. If you would like to support arts education in the Greater Seattle region, consider sponsoring a student and make a gift today. Your gift will provide access to dance education for future generations of dancers, allowing DCS to reach a broader spectrum of students and further our outreach admissions. We have many giving opportunities to choose from including one-time payments. Alternately, the best way to support this program is a sustained gift, reoccurring monthly. With your sustained gift, you will become a member of our Artistic Director’s Circle which will garner you intimate access to DCS events and classes, and preferred access to DCS performances. Your contributions in any amount will assist DCS in reaching its goal of providing financial assistance for our students who might not be able to afford training. DANCE CONSERVATORY Seattle greatly appreciates your generosity and for your continued support.

FAQ

  • Who is Raymond C. Montoya? Raymond (Ray) C. Montoya (1948-2022) is the father of DANCE CONSERVATORY Seattle Co-artistic Director Chris Montoya. Ray was the patriarch of his family and considered a leader amongst his peers. He worked hard his entire life to ensure the family had the funding to afford Chris’ dance education. Whether it was carpentry, electrical services, taxi driving, or project managing for the Salt River Project in Arizona, Ray always found a way to provide for his family. Ray epitomized work ethic. DCS is naming this fund in memory of Ray to not only honor his life, but also to pay it forward for other families in need so that they may be included in dance education without affordability concerns.
