Blaise Dagnen began training at the age of 3 in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. Receiving her early dance education from Spectrum Dance Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and graduating from Cornish Preparatory Dance Program. During this time she also attended summer intensives at Miami City Ballet, Long Beach Ballet: China Tour, and Dresden International Summer School: Palucca School of Dance.
Blaise then continued her higher education at The University of Oklahoma in the School of Dance under the direction of Michael Bearden and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Performance. At University she was able to learn and perform amazing repertoire including Spanish Lead and Demi-Flower in William Christianson’s The Nutcracker, Lead in Dean Mary Margaret Holt’s Sphinx, and Candide Fairy in Boyko Dossev’s Sleeping Beauty Suite. Her favorite opportunities include being in the original cast of Robyn Mineko Williams’ “Strand” as well as closing out her college career with Jerome Robbins’ Antique Epigraphs and George Balanchine’s Serenade, staged by Jenifer Ringer. During this time she also had the pleasure of performing Lilac Fairy and Carabosse finishing off her summer training at Boca Ballet Theatre.
Blaise continued her professional career at Ballet North Texas and was able to perform many unique works along with Arabian Princess in The Nutcracker and one of her favorite ballets “Valse Fantaisie” by George Balanchine. She has been working with Josh and Chrissy since the early beginnings of what is now Dance Conservatory Seattle and is ecstatic to return to such an amazing community of dancers for the season of 2025/2026!
In her free time she teaches ballet to ages 2 through 13 as well as adult classes. She has thoroughly enjoyed being at the front of the studio but is excited to get back out on stage!
